Steve From 'Blue's Clues' Has Returned & He's Even Making Talk Show Hosts Cry (VIDEO)

We're not crying! You're crying! 😭

Grab a tissue, millennials, because Steve from Blue's Clues is back online and he's making a lot of people tear up.

One of the latest people to feel the feels was talk show host Stephen Colbert after he had a moment on his Thursday, September 9, show to talk about a viral video featuring the original host of everyone's favourite kids show.

The video, which has been liked over 2 million times since it was posted on September 7, features an older Steve returning from college and delivering some comforting words in his already oh-so-comforting voice.

"All the help that you helped me with when we were younger is still helping me today," Steve — actor Steve Burns — said. "I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years, I never forgot you... ever."

"You look great, by the way," he added. "Whatever it is you're doing, it's working."

The video touched the hearts of so many people that Colbert brought it up on his show, mentioning that the sound everyone's been hearing this week is the internet's collective weeping.

"Obviously I have no emotional investment in Steve," Colbert said, before getting drawn in like the rest of us to Steve's sincerely heartwarming message and tearing up on the show.

It got even more moving from there, however, when Steve himself rocked up to the show (still wearing that classic hat) and offered Colbert a hug to help him feel better.

It does speak to just how this year is going when all it takes to make millennials collectively weep is a short video from the Blue's Clues actor, but we'll take all the catharsis we can get.
