Two Toronto Raptors Helped Create Subway Canada's All-New Rice Bowls & The Flavours Are A Slam Dunk

Which bowl are you trying first?

Editor, Studio

Subway Canada has just dropped two new menu items, expanding their lineup of crave-able rice bowls. But what makes these additions "incredi-bowl" is that they were created with Toronto Raptors Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher.

The 2021-2022 NBA Rookie of the Year, Scottie Barnes has been all about Subway's rice bowls since 2022 when he dubbed the iconic restaurant brand "Bowlway." Now, he's back with teammate Chris Boucher to share two new bowls that celebrate their Caribbean heritage and are packed with flavours they love.

So what are they bringing to the table? First up is Scottie Barnes' Jerk-Spiced Chicken Rice Bowl, made with juicy rotisserie-style chicken and tangy banana peppers. Chris Boucher, meanwhile, has served up the Jerk-Spiced Steak Rice Bowl, combining his personal faves: steak and cheese. Both bowls come with tomato, lettuce, cucumber and onion for a refreshing crunch, seasoned rice, and a generous dollop of jerk aioli.

Scottie Barnes loves to bowl, whether he's placing his order at Subway Canada or taking on his family in the Barnes' bowling competition — of which he's the reigning champ. And now, to celebrate the arrival of these new dishes, you have the chance to win a prize that'll bowl you right over.

Are you 'Canada's Most Ballin' Bowler'?

To celebrate the launch of these two rice bowls, Subway Canada is selecting three lucky winners who'll each win a round trip for them and a friend from wherever they are in Canada to Toronto, two nights in a hotel and lower bowl tickets to Scotiabank Arena to see the Toronto Raptors play in the flesh.* They'll also hook you up with a $1,000 prepaid gift card for expenses and a $1,300 Subway gift card.

If you win, you'll be known as one of "Canada’s Most Ballin’ Bowlers" and get a chance to bowl with Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher yourself.
