Florida Seems To Be 'Going Blue' As Trump Trails Behind Biden In A Surprising Shift

A Republican hasn't won without Florida in 96 years.
Contributor

Two new polls show that Florida may indeed be leaning blue during this election season, as Joe Biden pulls ahead of Donald Trump amongst registered voters.

A CNN/SSRS poll shows a 51% to 46% margin with Biden in the lead, and a Quinnipiac University poll shows 51% to 38% margin.

No Republican has won the presidency without Florida since Calvin Coolidge in 1924.

As of yesterday, a poll by FiveThirtyEight shows that margin closing slightly, but still distinct with Biden leading at 50% and Trump at 46%.

A politico poll shows that Florida was overwhelmingly red for Trump last election, making the switch to blue this year quite a shock.

With the election just 100 days away, make sure to get registered and make your voice heard this year!
