Real estate in Florida can get REAL expensive. Ahh, the price one pays for paradise. Finding a way to live in The Sunshine State without breaking the bank might have you turning to fixer-uppers, you don't have to though. A new tiny home village with houses for sale in Tampa Bay will let you have a brand new build with modern finishes but on a smaller scale.

Escape Tampa Bay Village popped up just outside of Tampa in Thonotosassa just this year, back in May.

Each tiny home for sale has a unique layout, with the price point depending on size and included features. A common theme? Massive picture windows that let in loads of light and look out onto the development.

The sizes range from 260 upwards to 650 square feet and include everything you might need from the bedroom and living room to kitchen, storage, and office spaces.

They can comfortably fit families of two to four, with some large enough for up to six, one unit including a small mother-in-law suite.

So what about the price tag? Prices range from around $69,000 to $164,000. These homes are considered RVs due to being on wheels, but they're built using the same materials as full-sized homes and can be strapped down during hurricane season.

If you're planning to buy, you'll also need to factor in lot rent, which ranges from $465 on the low end upwards to $702 on the high-end.

Good news though, landscaping and washer-dryer units are included in the lot rental price, along with garbage, recycling, water, sewage, and parking fees. Some are even equipped with solar power.

Only 4.5 miles from The University of South Florida, 12 miles from all the cool things to do in downtown Tampa, about an hour from the theme parks of Orlando and the beach coves of Sarasota, one might even go so far to say that this is a prime location to own a home.

Escape's tiny home village currently features 10 houses, but the VP of Development, David Peterson, told Bay News 9 that the company plans to expand its available units up to 30 in the near future due to growing interest.

Escape Tampa Bay also has plans to offer rentals. Representative Dan George told Narcity that the hope is to have a few rentable units available later this year. They've even started a waitlist for them already.

If you've been looking to downsize your life or find a more affordable way to live in Sunshine State paradise, looking into Escape Tampa Bay's new tiny home village might just be your go-to.
