When the meeting began, county attorney Rod Ponton appeared to have accidentally added a cat filter and didn't know how to turn it off.

I'm here, live. I'm not a cat. Rod Ponton

Ponton said he and his assistant were trying to figure it out but he was ready to proceed with the meeting despite appearing as a rather sad-looking cat.

The short clip quickly spread across the internet, bringing laughter and joy to all who saw it, which is why Ponton says he's in good spirits.

“If I can make the country chuckle for a moment in these difficult times they’re going through, I’m happy to let them do that at my expense,” Ponton told the New York Times.
