Yes, Santa Claus, Georgia, is a real place and you can visit to feel those Christmas vibes all year round. 

Originally established as a marketing ploy in the 1930s, Santa Claus has fully embraced its name which pays homage to the holidays. 

All of the street names in the festive town are Christmas-themed, such as Reindeer Street, Sleigh Street, and Candy Cane Street.

In the tiny town of fewer than 200 people, Black Friday isn't celebrated with deals, but by covering the merry town with twinkling lights, garland, and red ribbons.

And the decorations don't just last for the season — Santa Claus City Hall, located at 25 December Drive, is perpetually decked out in holiday decor. 

People travel from near and far to drop their letters to Santa in the town's bright red mailbox and have it stamped with a Santa Claus postmark.

Every year on Christmas Eve, residents line the streets of Santa Claus with luminary lanterns to guide the way for Santa and his reindeer.

This festive town is truly like a little North Pole right in the Southeast.
