Canadians have revealed which Tim Hortons donuts are the best, and only a few menu staples were top choices.

So many people said that the retro donuts are actually the best flavours.

There are quite a few flavours that are always on the menu, including the Apple Fritter, Boston Cream, Chocolate Dip, Vanilla Dip, Honey Cruller, Old Fashioned Plain, Sour Cream Glazed, and more.

So, Narcity posted on Facebook and asked, "What do you think is the best ever Tim Hortons donut?"

With more than 200 comments, people shared so many flavours, including a lot of discontinued donuts.

These are the top three best Tim Hortons donuts, according to Canadians:

  1. Walnut Crunch
  2. Honey Crueller
  3. Apple Fritter

After that, the Blueberry Fritter and Dutchie are tied for fourth place in this ranking.

Boston Cream, which is a Tim Hortons menu classic, rounds out the top five.

Then, the Long John, Eclair and Canadian Maple are tied for sixth place as the best donuts at Tim Hortons.

Cherry Stick is in the seventh spot, and the Old Fashioned Glazed, Strawberry Vanilla and Chocolate Coconut donuts are tied for eighth.

After that, only a few people said that Sour Cream Plain, Bow Tie, Old Fashioned Plain, Chocolate Dip, Vanilla Dip, and Chocolate Glazed are the best Tims donuts.

These donuts only got one vote each as the best donut flavours at Tim Hortons:

  • French Crueller
  • Honey Glazed
  • Chocolate Crueller
  • Double Chocolate
  • Honey Dip
  • Old Fashioned Dip
  • Old Fashioned Sugar
  • Blueberry Sour Cream Glazed
  • Honey Stick
  • Dulce de Leche
  • Lemon Cake
  • Toasted Coconut
  • Cherry Crueller
  • Churro
  • Orange Stick

Over the last few years, Tim Hortons has added quite a few retro donuts back to the menu for a limited time.

That includes the Blueberry Fritter, Lemon Cake, Blueberry Sour Cream, Sugar Twist, Dutchie, Cinnamon Sugar Twist, Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick donuts.

Almost all of those retro donuts are ones that Canadians named as the best Tim Hortons donuts ever.

Maybe Tim Hortons will keep bringing these discontinued flavours back to the menu, and Canadians can have their favourite donuts again!
