It's a new year but Tim Hortons is looking to the past.
That's because retro donuts are making a comeback in Canada, including one that has never returned to the menu before.
Tim Hortons has revealed that along with new hot and iced beverages, two retro donuts are being added to the menu at locations across Canada.
Coming back once again is the Blueberry Fritter, which Tims said is a "popular" menu item.
While the Blueberry Fritter has been brought back to the menu before, there's a new-old baked good making its first return to the Tim Hortons menu: the Lemon Cake Donut.
The Blueberry Fritter is like the Apple Fritter that's a menu staple at Tims but with a gooey blueberry filling and chunks of the berry baked in.
The Lemon Cake Donut is a classic ring donut that's also glazed.
You can get these two retro donuts for a limited time at Tim Hortons locations in Canada starting Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Tim Hortons added the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick donuts to the menu for a limited time in 2023.
Then, in 2024, the Canadian coffee chain brought back the Dutchie, Blueberry Fritter, Cinnamon Sugar Twist and Walnut Crunch.
These retro donuts had been long-lost Tim Hortons menu items before they were revived back in 2023.
It's not known if Tims will keep adding retro donuts to the menu.
