A police release states they were called for reports of a man screaming racial slurs at Asian residents in Main Street Unionville.

When she confronted the man, he yelled at her and then scratched her car with a key.

The abuser was apparently confronted by one woman. In return for her intervention, she was verbally abused and the man then damaged her car with a key before leaving.

He was soon caught by officers, however. 57-year-old Neil Mitchell has been charged with causing a disturbance and mischief under $5000.

This is just the latest horrible instance of racism around the GTA. On July 5, a man who has since also been charged, was filmed hurling abuse at staff at a T&T supermarket in Mississauga.
