Baranga's on the Beach in Hamilton will let you pretend you're on a Mediterranean getaway while on the shores of Lake Ontario. This award-winning Greek restaurant is up and running with a magical beachside patio that will transport you on a mini holiday. 

Located on the beach, this local shoreline establishment serves up colourful cuisine in a bright and airy outdoor space.  

There is a waterfront view, with string lights hanging from above your seat to add a warm glow to your evening.

The outdoor dining area has patio umbrellas at the tables, so you can enjoy your food and drinks on the breezy terrace without getting a sunburn. 

Pretend you've been whisked away to a quiet eatery in Mykonos at this charming and quaint Hamilton restaurant.

The food offers a selection of shareable plates that are packed with a variety of Mediterranean ingredients and flavours. 

You can hit this patio up every day of the week, and they run on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations!

The venue is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 or 10 p.m., so you can grab lunch or stop by for a cocktail and dinner plates in the evening. 

They ask that you keep your group under six people. 

So, you can show up with a small group of friends for lunch before spending the rest of the day in the city. 

There is a two-hour limit on tables, so after your food, grab your towel and sunscreen for a beach day.
