The holidays are typically the time of year when we all could use a few extra bucks, and Canada Post is now hiring across the province.
The postal service is offering Ontarians the chance to make $21.19 an hour while working as a seasonal postal clerk for the holidays.
The temporary position requires no experience. All you need is a can-do attitude and the motivation to apply.
Working from November 15 to January 15 as a Postal Clerk, you’ll help us sort holiday mail and parcels to ensure customers and businesses receive what they’re waiting for.
The seasonal work will last from November 15, 2020 to January 15, 2021, so you've still got about a week to apply.
Some of the tasks required of you will be sorting mail, operating processing equipment, and entering data into a computer.
According to Canada Post, during the holidays, they usually deliver over one million parcels each day, so they need a helping hand.
If you've never worked in a warehouse or plant environment before, don't worry about it. You'll receive on-site training.
Some locations that are currently hiring include Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph.
