In a press release, Skyscanner revealed "the most budget-friendly destinations for Canadians seeking winter escapes" and there are several spots to travel to from Toronto.

The destinations featured have the best deals between November 1, 2024, and January 31, 2025, according to Skyscanner, making them good options for a holiday getaway or post-Christmas adventure.

You can enjoy "tropical vacations, vibrant cityscapes, or winter wonderlands" starting at $290 round trip.

From Toronto, the most affordable destinations to fly to are:

  • Calgary: from $290 round trip
  • New York: from $336 round trip
  • Vancouver: from $351round trip
  • Orlando: from $382 round trip
  • Fort Lauderdale: from $411 round trip
  • Cancun: from $588 round trip

  • "The holiday season is a prime time for travel, and our data shows that affordable options are available for Canadians looking to explore both domestic and international destinations," Skyscanner Travel Expert Laura Lindsay said in the release.

    "By planning ahead and utilizing tools like Skyscanner's price alerts, travellers can secure the best deals and make the most of their holiday adventures."
