If you've recently travelled through the 6ix via plane, you might want to get tested. The Government of Canada is warning passengers of potential COVID-19 exposure on Toronto flights. Anyone who has flown into the country must self-isolate for 14 days.

According to the Government of Canada's website, nearly a dozen international and domestic flights through Toronto could have exposed passengers to the disease in June.

Among these, six out of the 11 flights were Air Canada. These included planes returning to the city from Mexico and Vancouver.

As well as trips leaving Toronto to both Montreal and Winnipeg.

Other airlines on the list were WestJet and Flair for domestics, along with Air India and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

These flights included trips from New Delhi and Amsterdam to Toronto, as well as a flight from Toronto to Calgary.

Overall, since June 17, the Canadian government has reported 10 flights that have passed through Toronto that may have been exposed to COVID-19.

If you think that you may have been on one of these flights, the government provides the flight number, as well as the rows that could have been exposed.

More recently, there was also a positive case recorded onboard a WestJet plane from Toronto to Halifax on Friday, June 26, according to a news release from the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA).

"While anyone on the flight could have been exposed, based on Public Health’s investigation to date, passengers in rows 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 seats A-C are more likely to have had close contact," it says.

This brings the total number of flights that may have been exposed to the disease in Toronto up to 11.

This comes days after WestJet announced that they would be ending physical distancing on flights

Air Canada has also announced that they would be following similar measures, as well as bringing back other services such as in-flight meals.
