If you were cursing downtown Toronto's traffic today, you may have over 300 dump trucks to blame.*

The trucks flooded into the centre of the 6ix to protest changes to dump truck regulations and they definitely got plenty of people's attention.

At 10 a.m. this morning, Toronto police tweeted a warning about the protest and said the route would create a "traffic disruption."

Not only did the trucks take over the streets, but their loud honks grabbed plenty of attention as well.

This isn't the first time this has happened — the dump trucks also made headlines when they paraded on December 10.

The truck drivers are protesting changes to the Safe, Productive, Infrastructure-Friendly legislation, which says some dump-truck drivers need to pay up to $40,000 to retrofit older vehicles.*

The legislation takes effect on January 1, 2021.
