This year has been a rough time for Raptors fans. Torontonians have watched the team ship off to Florida, fail to defend their championship title, and now Fred VanVleet is playing hardball.

VanVleet made it clear during his appearance on The Old Man & The Three on Wednesday that he is considering all options when it comes to where he will be playing next season.

The 26-year-old, who has been a Raptor since 2016, mentioned that he's just trying to get paid.

I'm trying to get paid, man, I'm not shy about that.  Fred VanVleet

"I don't have to tell people that I value winning. Just look at my story, do your research," VanVleet stated.

"I've never been on a losing team in my entire life. That's what I'm about. And that's just what it is. I won a championship and now it's time to cash out."

While Raptors fans are holding onto hope that the star will stay with the team, VanVleet can't guarantee anything.

"I’m gonna look at all the offers on the table. I know what I feel like I’m worth, and I’ll see if their minds are in the same place as me," VanVleet added.

The Raptors point guard has in the past, expressed a desire to stay in the 6ix. However, only time will tell where he'll end up.
