Most Ontario Cities Are Reporting Less Than 5 New Cases Of COVID-19 Today

Toronto, Peel and York are the last remaining problem areas.
Contributing Writer

After months of lockdown, Ontario's new COVID-19 cases appear to be declining. Minister of Health Christine Elliott reported that the province only had 165 new cases of the disease on Friday.

This brings the total number of cases across the province to 35,535, according to the Government of Ontario's website.

Despite the new cases, most Ontario cities are reporting less than five news cases of COVID-19 a day.

In fact, a whopping 14 cities across the province are reporting no new cases at all this Friday.

At the moment Ontario's biggest problem regions remain Toronto, Peel, and York, who all reported more than five cases today.
