Indoor dining will be making a comeback.

Doug Ford unveiled Ontario's new reopening plan on Thursday and offered residents a glimpse of what restaurants and bars will look like in the coming months.

According to the province, restrictions will gradually loosen in three stages with food establishments limited to take-out, drive-through and delivery services until step one.

The first step, which is expected to start in mid-June, will allow outdoor dining to resume across Ontario. However, restaurants will be required to limit tables to four people alongside other COVID-19 rules.

The second step will allow outdoor dining to expand to six people per table as well as allowing karaoke to take place outside with restrictions.

Finally, the last stage will allow indoor dining to reopen and karaoke to resume indoors. On top of that, residents will finally be able to see buffets resume.
