Attention all adventure fans! Blue Mountain has reopened its Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster this summer. You can once again visit the popular outdoors attraction and glide through the trees while taking in the lush, green view from your cart.

Built on one kilometre of track, this fun way to explore the terrain of the area is great for all ages above three.

The Ridge Runner goes at speeds of up to 42 kilometres an hour, which you can control from your seat. Drivers of the carts must be at least 16, according to their website.

Although they are operating with some capacity restrictions, you've got lots of time to visit this unique attraction.

Open every day of the week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Ridge Runner will take you on a roller coaster ride through the hills and forests of Blue Mountain.

You're completely exposed to the open air and surrounding foliage as you make your way up and down the winding tracks in your self-controlled cart.

They ask that you bring a face mask with you, and will be operating at a reduced capacity, so get your tickets in advance.

A Play-All-Day midweek (Monday to Friday) pass for adults is $69, while weekend passes will cost you $79.

However, the pass will give you access to other attractions along with the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster.

You can go on the open-air gondola, do mountain top segway tours, access their aquatic centre, and more.

So get ready for a day packed with adventures, and you can start off with a trip through the trees.

If you're looking for even more of a thrill, there are multiple zip lines that you can explore in Ontario this summer as well.

All you have to do is grab and friend and choose your speed, and you'll be zipping through the forest on a joy ride of epic proportions.
