If you're looking for a small town adventure this winter, you may want to plan a trip to this charming hidden gem near Toronto. This small town is transforming into a "winter wonderland" complete with ice bars, fire pits and more and it's a dreamy cold-weather experience.

Located under an hour from Toronto, the town offers delicious restaurants, local shopping, outdoor activities and more. This year, it's hosting a new event called Ice Lounge on Main that will turn the area into a frosty paradise.

Newmarket will be hosting the experience from February 22 to 25 and you can immerse yourself "in the sophisticated charm of an Apres-Ski-inspired event," according to a press release.

The Main Street will transform "into a pedestrianized winter wonderland from Water Street to Park Avenue" and you can enjoy treats, outdoor art installations, Instagram-able photo opportunities and more.

There will be fire pits where you can toast marshmallows and Ice Bars where you can grab a drink.

Live entrainment will be taking place throughout the festival and you can see ice sculptures and light installations along Main Street.

It's a dreamy place for a romantic date or to hang out with friends.
