Get your maple leaf-themed outfits ready! Canada Day is almost here and there are several spots in Toronto to see some dazzling fireworks.

You can watch the sky light up with colour and show some Canadian pride at select Toronto parks as well as other locations this weekend.

The City of Toronto is hosting free fireworks displays at four parks beginning at 10 p.m. on July 1.

The City is also celebrating with some daytime festivals at Thompson Memorial Park and nine Toronto History Museums.

Here are the Toronto parks where you can see fireworks this weekend:

  • Ashbridges Bay Park
  • Centennial Park
  • Milliken Park
  • Stand Wadlow Park

You can find out more about the fireworks and Canada Day experiences on the City of Toronto website.

Canada's Wonderland will also be hosting fireworks displays. The fireworks will be taking place at the amusement park on June 30 and July 1 from 10 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Each show has a "unique, custom-design set to an original soundtrack that you won’t find anywhere else in Toronto," according to the website.

Wonderland's fireworks will feature 6,000 colourful explosions, reaching heights of over 800 feet. The experience is included with park admission.

Another spot to see fireworks in Toronto this weekend is Downsview Park. The park is hosting a free festival on July 1 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. complete with live entertainment, games for kids, inflatables, vendors, food trucks and more.
