Dec 26 Lockdown restrictions come into effect

Drive-thrus such as Gift Of Lights in Kitchener and Polar Drive in Toronto have announced that they are shutting down after December 25, though Gift Of Lights stated its closure is temporary.

Canadian Tire's Christmas Trail is shutting down for the remainder of the season according to the website.

The unique drive-thru escape room at Square One Mall announced that it too is closing after December 25.

Nights Of Lights informed Narcity that it is taking part in conversations with the government to reverse drive-thru closures.

"Our event like other drive-thru’s across the province is fully contactless and covid-safe, and we are hopeful this decision will be re-considered so that we can continue to safely spread joy and holiday cheer," Nights Of Lights said in an email.

Glow Niagara stated in an Instagram post that they are "investigating what the provincial closures may mean for Glow" and will keep the public updated on social media.
