More popular eateries are joining the list of Toronto's restaurant closures, revealing that the strain of pandemic-related restrictions became too much to bear. 

Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, REDS Midtown, and Duke’s Refresher at Yonge Street and Gerrard Street East have closed their doors forever as of February 9.

REDS will continue to operate at 77 Adelaide St. and Square One in Mississauga.

Duke’s Gerrard will be relocated to the St. Lawrence Market location as of Monday, February 15.

Toronto said goodbye to many beloved spots in 2020, including Cold Tea in Kensington Market, Fran's Restaurant on Yonge, and Queen Street's Cafe Crepe. 

A number of major retail chains have also exited the province, including Kiehl's and Godiva. Starbucks is shuttering 200 locations around Canada, some of which are in Toronto.
