The workplace's name will not be disclosed publicly, however, as there is currently no risk to the public.

The health unit says that because everyone was able to be reached for contact tracing, the business's privacy will be protected.

"If the workplace wants to come out with a statement, we will leave that up to them," Peel Public Health said to Narcity.

The Globe and Mail points out that Brampton currently has more active cases of the disease than any other city in Ontario.

A total of 22 new cases were reported in Peel on Thursday, as well as 55 in Toronto, and 28 in York Region.

The Minister of Health announced 170 new cases in the province on Thursday.
