A whimsical new Hobbit-hole is now available to rent in Ontario, and it will whisk you away to Middle-earth.

Located at Hillside Stables in Fenelon Falls, The Hobbit House is a year-round retreat surrounded by endless meadows and wildlife.

In typical Hobbit fashion, the off-grid house is build right into a hill and took around four years to complete.

"From a very young age, I wanted my own Hobbit house because it's the coolest thing in the world," says owner Rebecca Armstrong. "When we moved to the farm five years ago and I was walking around looking at the property I saw this hillside. And I thought, 'That would be the most amazing place for a Hobbit house.'"

The abode sleeps three guests and is filled with rustic furniture and unique carvings.

The surrounding property comes with a swimming hole, trails and animals you can visit, and you can even add things like a telescope or firewood to your stay.
