This hidden gem of a small town in B.C. is officially a must-visit spot, ranked among the top places you need to visit in 2026. With a quaint downtown, charming vibes, and mountain views, it's not hard to see why people love it.

If you're looking for a magical escape to add to your Canadian bucket list for 2026, this is the spot.

Revelstoke was dubbed one of the top spots in the country to visit in the upcoming year by Narcity readers. The little mountaintown in B.C. is like a fairytale come to life, with a picture-perfect gazebo, cozy streets and adventure at the doorstep.

A getaway to Revelstoke means wandering the historic streets of downtown, stopping in at all the local shops and restaurants. It's the kind of place where you find cool knick-knacks from small businesses to take home, instead of big box stores filling the streets.

When the fall hits the town, it's especially stunning. On a crisp autumn day, nothing beats exploring the streets and sipping a craft beer on a patio, like Rumpus Beer Company.

If you make the trip before mid-October, you can check out the farmers' market here, set up on First Street on Saturdays. There you'll find local creators and artisans setting up.

If you time it right, you're trip here will also have a golden hue to it, thanks to the beautiful leaves changing colour. Alpha Mountain Lodging is near town and has all the mountain-escape vibes you could want out of a cozy fall getaway.

If you don't make it in time for fall, though, winter has its own special charm. With a fresh blanket of snow, the town looks like a winter wonderland. Twinkling lights make it extra magical to stroll around downtown.

The town also has a heritage cinema, adding to the old-school small-town charm and making for a fun evening activity.

Adventure is woven throughout Revelstoke, though, making exploring a must any time of year. Summer is swimming and hiking here, but winter is all about skiing. Powdery snow covers the mountains, and a visit to Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a go-to.

With beauty, adventure, and cozy vibes — it's easy to see why a visit to Revelstoke in 2026 is calling.
