The forest of Stanley Park transforms into a wintry wonderland with more than 3,000,000 lights setting it aglow. You can hop on the beloved train and it will take you through the forest, and afterwards, you can wander through the plaza where there are light displaces, food vendors, and of course Santa himself.

Think Chimney Cakes, hot chocolate, pretzels, and even mac and cheese bites.

Running daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Bright Nights event will start on November 29 and go until January 4, 2025 — expect on Christmas Day.

The popular event is a favourite among locals so tends to sell out quickly, but if you don't make it this year make sure to mark your calendars for next year! There's no shortage of festive things to do in Vancouver this year, from the Vancouver Christmas market to visiting nearby small towns that are decked out for the season.
