A flight cancellation at the Vancouver International Airport might not be so bad after all, because the best airport hotel in North America is actually right there.

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport hotel was just ranked as one of the best airport hotels in the world and comes with some pretty stunning views.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards released the list of The World's Best Airport Hotels 2022, and the Fairmont Vancouver Airport stood out as the fifth-best airport hotel in the entire world and claimed the number one spot in North America.

The Airport Hotel Awards used surveys from guests, assessing standards like the overall experience, access to the airport, the service, the cleanliness, the amenities, the food, and the value for the cost.

“This award is a true honour and we dedicate it to our entire team who continue to deliver extraordinary experiences for our guests and colleagues every day,” said Randall Williams, the general manager of Fairmont Vancouver Airport, in a press release.

The hotel rooms are so spectacular that guests can experience ocean and mountain views from their rooms. They can also watch the planes take off!

Plus, there are so many new great amenities to try out while staying here. The hotel has a health club that comes with an indoor lap pool. They also offer yoga mats, a Peloton Bike and even a self-guided Nordic hydrotherapy experience.

The day spa at Fairmont Vancouver Airport offers a wide variety of services as specializes in oxygen facials and jet lag recovery massages

Globe@YVR is the restaurant located inside the hotel that serves up Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine.

This hotel would truly be such a luxurious place to stay on your next visit to the city of Vancouver.
