If you're on the hunt for the best bars in Vancouver, this one was just ranked among the top 50 in all of North America. The Vancouver bar snagged the second spot in Canada, just a few places behind a Toronto bar on the ranking.

The lush greenery and airy decor of this restaurant makes you feel like you're escaping into a little paradise when you visit, and the cocktails are unreal.

The list of North America's 50 best bars for 2025 was just released, ranking the top drink spots around. It's crafted based on Academy member votes, which is made up of "anonymous North American bar industry experts from the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean," according to the press release.

If you're going to a spot that earned a nod on this list, you can be confident that you're going to enjoy a good cocktail there. For the second year in a row, Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy was awarded the top spot, as the Best Bar in North America.

Vancouver had a few spots on the list though, with The Botanist Bar being the top one in the city. The fun drink creations here and beautiful atmosphere helped it land 26th on the ranking.

While the drinks here are stand-outs, the vibe of this place also adds to the whole experience. There's plants everywhere, filling the restaurant with vibrant green.

The cocktail meanu is super creative, featuring things like foie gras, candy cap mushrooms, and "chemist-like libations," according to the website.

You can opt just to go to the bar for drinks here, but there's also weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner at Botanist.
