On Tuesday, October 13, Dr. Bonnie Henry addressed the public regarding COVID-19 in B.C. 

This was the first update in four days as there was a break for the Thanksgiving long weekend. 

Dr. Henry shared that 170 cases were confirmed between Friday and Saturday, 159 between Saturday and Sunday, and 119 between Sunday and Monday.

549 Cases over the weekend

Since Friday's update, five more British Columbians have died, according to the healthcare professional.

Though, she didn't share any details about the individuals. 

As of now, the province's death toll sits at 250. 

In regards to the daily numbers over the weekend, Henry said "The numbers are higher than what we would like to see, and on average are higher than what we were seeing in the past week."
