Franks RedHot® Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese

The flavour explosion of cheese, chicken and hot sauce is irresistible, but most importantly, it serves a party of eight and takes only 10 minutes of prep time. Try it out for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (16 ounces/450 grams) elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup (125 millilitres) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 millilitres) all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups (1 litre) milk
  • 4 cups (1 litre) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125 millilitres) plus 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Frank's RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce, divided.
  • 2 cups (500 millilitres) chopped cooked chicken
  • 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 millilitres) thinly sliced green onion, optional
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese, optional
