Zellers Is Trending On Twitter In Canada Despite The Last Store Closing Months Ago

We just can't seem to let it go! 😅
Managing Editor, Canada

The nostalgia is so real! Although the last Canadian Zellers store closed down earlier this year, some people on Twitter just can’t seem to let it go.

On Monday, November 9, Zellers started trending in Canada, as people from all over the country took to Twitter to reminisce about the department store.

While it’s not clear what, if anything, started the online trend, it’s obvious that so many Canadians are seriously missing it!

On Monday, several Twitter users joked about how often Zellers just randomly starts trending online in Canda.

Others jumped on the trend to discuss what they missed most about the store. Firm-favourites include the fries and gravy, the coffee, Zeddy Teddies, ClubZ points and so much more!

Nostalgic photos of the Zeddy Teddy machine ride also made an appearance, with one Canadian describing it as "our Disney World."

Although the last two Zellers stores in Canada closed back in January, it's clear many of us are still not over it.

In fact, hundreds of Canadians even signed a petition asking Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to save the last-standing locations.

We miss you, Zellers!
