This Ontario Inn's Beachfront Patio Will Feel Like You're Dining In The South Of France

Time for wining and dining!
Contributor

It’s like Paris without the passports. If you’ve been dreaming about dining in France but can’t travel there right now, then you’re going to completely Louvre this gorgeous waterfront patio in Ontario.

With lake views and sunsets that will steal your heart, who needs a french vacation anyway?

Located in Wellington, Ontario, The Drake Devonshire Inn serves up mouthwatering meals with a side of seriously sweet lake views.

Pops of yellow and strings of twinkle lights brighten up the space for a brilliant dining experience.

At the time of writing, reservations are required. However, you can make them right at the door.

Tables are spaced out and limited to six people each with a two-hour time limit.

Other restrictions include debit and credit payments only and one bill per table.

So if you’re splitting the tab with your besties, you’ll have to do that math on your own.

But all that seems a small price to pay for gorgeous dining with unreal dishes like the moules-frites, which is a feast of hand-cut fries topped with PEI mussels, white wine, parsley, and mustard cream.

Yum, we’ll take two orders, please.

Now go on, soak up those Lake Ontario views and bon appétit!

When in Prince Edward County, it’s hard not to subscribe to the rosé-all-day mantra.

But, with a long list of staff-crafted cocktails, you’ll be spoiled with drinks to sip on here.

There are even a few non-alcoholic drinks on offer including Farmers Market Punch, which is a mix of apple, lemon, cherry, and Fee Brothers old-fashioned bitters.

Another non-boozy option is Wanderlust, a drink with grapefruit, cucumber, mint, cherry, lemon, and seltzer.

Now, we know that Toronto is full of breathtaking patios.

Some will take you on a trip around the world and others have mesmerizing rooftop views, but if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, then this spot is perfect.

Because there’s nothing but the sounds of rushing water and clinking glasses here.

Ah, peaceful.

So if you're looking for places to wine and dine yourself before summer is over, wine not hit up The Drake?

If you want that European coastal vibe without leaving Ontario, there aren't many better places to find it.
