Right now, Air Canada is offering The Student Flight Pass — a series of multi-flight packages that offer locked-in prices and flexible booking terms.

It’s described as a “pre-paid package,” and you can top up four or six one-way flight credits.

This means for a set price, you’ll secure four or six separate one-way journeys. The price of each trip will depend on the specific package you choose.

The Western Commuter package, the airline’s cheapest, offers travel between Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver or Victoria and select destinations in British Columbia. This starts at $178 per flight.

The Eastern Commuter package, which includes trips between destinations like Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto and more, starts at $183 per journey.

There’s also an East West Connector option that combines destinations from both of these plans, and an Atlantic one for those wanting to travel around the Maritimes.

If you want to explore the whole country, and some stops in the U.S., you could purchase the Across Canada offer, with trips costing from $429.

The perks of this student pass include locked-in prices, flexible booking conditions and almost no blackout dates, explains Air Canada.

You can even book a flight up to one hour before boarding!

It’s valid for 15 months after purchasing and during almost all peak periods. While you can extend your credits beyond this time, you will be charged $250 for the privilege.

The airline says that exact prices will vary from province to province.

To be eligible for the pass, you’ll need to be a Canadian resident with a valid student photo ID.

You’ll also need an Aeroplan membership in your own name. If you don’t have one already, you can enroll for free online.

If you’re not a student, but like the sound of this deal, there’s also a Coast to Coast Flight Pass.

It’s similar, but this package will also allow you to change or cancel your plans for free up to one hour before departure.

Travel is a little different right now, so be sure to check the most up-to-date rules and regulations at all of your potential destinations!
