Alberta Has Over 8,000 COVID-19 Cases Right Now & Here’s Where They Are In The Province

Over the past few weeks, Alberta's COVID-19 cases have been on the rise. 

Though, the province has yet to impose stricter restrictions beyond a 15-person gathering limit in Calgary and Edmonton. 

Dr. Hinshaw said on Monday, November 9 that they were weighing options and even considering a snap lockdown which is being proposed by dozens of health-care workers in the province.

3,090 Cases in Alberta

While we await potential new measures, Alberta's data is continually updated on the government portal

The map shows that 3,504 of the active cases are in Calgary and 3,387 are in Edmonton. *

Next in line is Airdrie, Lethbridge, and Grande Prairie.

Several of the main areas for COVID-19 are sub-sections of Calgary and Edmonton.

As of now, gathering restrictions remain at 15 people in the two cities.
