Everyone Who Attended An Alberta 'Freedom Rally' Is Being Asked To Get A COVID-19 Test

The rally took place in Medicine Hat this weekend and an attendee has tested positive.

Health officials are asking anyone who attended an Alberta Freedom Rally in Medicine Hat on Saturday, April 24 to get a COVID-19 test.

According to a Twitter thread posted by AHS South Zone, someone who was in attendance has tested positive and they're asking all attendees to get tested, regardless if they are symptomatic or not.

They continued to say that following public health guidance is the "best way to reduce the spread of both the original strain of COVID-19 and variants of concern."

According to CHAT News Today, around 100 people were in attendance at the rally during a visit from anti-lockdown activist Chris Sky.

Sky is currently touring the country to attend rallies of this sort in different Canadian cities.
