Alberta Has Finally Escaped The Polar Vortex With Positive Temperatures Coming In Hot

Things have been pretty gruesome in terms of Alberta weather over the past few weeks. 

Luckily, The Weather Network has reported that we'll be seeing temperatures in the positives beginning on Friday, February 19.

-3 C In Calgary on Sunday, February 21

If we take a look at Calgary, the city will start on Friday with 0 C temperatures, which is the first time we've seen temperatures above freezing in what feels like decades. 

It will hold around there until Tuesday, which might just make you feel like you're on a tropical beach vacation. 

Meanwhile, Edmontonians can look forward to a positive 4 C day on Sunday.  

The Polar Vortex blanketed most of Canada for the past couple of weeks and parts of Alberta saw weather as cold as -50 C with the wind chill. 

While single-digit positives may not sound like much, they sound like spring to us and we are here for it.
