'Canadians Urgently Need Your Help:' The Government Says We Need To End Anti-Asian Racism
The Canadian Government spoke out against anti-Asian racism on Wednesday, March 17, following a series of shootings that took place in Atlanta on Tuesday, targeting mainly Asian women.
"Over the past year, we’ve seen an increase in acts of racism against Asian Canadians," said Trudeau.

"This ignorant, violent, and discriminatory behaviour has no place in Canada - or anywhere in the world. We must continue to stand united against it," he continued.
The Prime Minister shared a tweet by MP Mary Ng that says, "Now, Asian Canadians urgently need your help. We have vaccines to inoculate against COVID-19, but we don't have a vaccine for ending racism."
