Tickets For the Georgia Aquarium's Sharks After Dark Party Are On Sale Now

The Georgia Aquarium is one spot in Atlanta that never gets old, whether you're a tourist or a local. There's always something going on and it's always introducing new exhibits or themes. Next month you can visit the brand new shark gallery while sipping cocktails under the sea. 

The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta has been anticipating the grand opening of the 1.2 million-gallon gallery, a 185-feet long, shark exhibit that will even include your chance to dive with them next year. The exhibit will be called SHARKS! Predators of the Deep.

The aquarium's website explains that there are numerous viewing spots to see these creatures of the sea where you'll come face-to-face with them. It also calls the new exhibit "one of the largest and most dynamic shark exhibits in North America."

On October 21, those 21 and up can exclusively check out the new expansion and party with the sharks at "SHARKS! After Dark." The event will last from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., so you'll get to see the aquarium in a whole new way. 

The event will have social distancing requirements in place with face coverings required, except while eating or drinking. 

This exclusive event will also have a bar that can create your favorite cocktails. Cash won't be accepted though, so don't forget to bring your card if you wanna sip under the sea.

For those late-night munchies that come creeping up, there'll be café dining options provided by Wolfgang Puck until 9 p.m., so you know you'll be in for some good eats.

You can also expect a live DJ to be spinning tunes, so you can dance around the exhibit — and maybe even get those sharks moving to the motion of the ocean too.

The general admission ticket includes your entry and two alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink tickets. 

Those who are members of the Aquarium can purchase tickets for $49.95. Those who aren't members can purchase them for $54.95.

Tickets are already on sale, so purchase them as soon as you can so you have a spot to be one of the first to see this new, incredible exhibit.
