There's a good reason for the study, too.🍻💰

Bottoms up! One company is on the hunt for people from Canada and the U.S. to test hangovers. Best of all? They'll pay you up to $1,200 to do it.

EduBirdie, a writing platform, is looking for people to taste-test different types of beer ahead of the U.S. National Beer Day on April 7, 2021.

$1,200 To drink beer

According to the company, they want to pursue this study in order to understand the effects of drinking on students and their education.

"We decided to conduct a study to determine which of the 15 most popular American beer brands have the least impact on your productivity the next morning," their website reads.

The company explained that testers will get a complete set of beers along with other drinks, snacks and water to stay hydrated.

Alex Shevchenko, Communication Manager at EduBirdie, told Narcity that they will ask participants to complete a tailored test before and after drinking the alcohol.

"Our medical specialist monitors testers' well-being and how it was affected by the last night."

Shevchenko also says that the company is responsible for every safety issue that may arise during the test.

The company is looking for U.S. and Canadian residents mostly between the age of 21 and 28, but it's also open to people up to 40 years old.

The deadline to apply is March 19, 2021.
