The best fast food chains in Canada have been revealed, and a few Canadian quick service restaurants made the list.
If you prefer big chains like McDonald's, you might not expect these top spots!
Narcity recently asked people on Facebook to share what the best fast food restaurants in Canada are.
More than 30 fast food chains have been named as Canada's best from almost 400 comments.
According to Canadians, these are the best fast food places in Canada:
- Harvey's
- A&W
- Wendy's
"My son lives in California, and every time he comes home, he wants to go to Harvey's," someone commented. "He also maintains our A&Ws are better."
Another person said that you "can't go wrong" with A&W.
"It's reliable all across Canada," they said. "I've travelled back and forth and no matter what, it's good at breakfast and good at 2 a.m."
The next most popular fast food restaurants are Swiss Chalet and Mary Brown's.
You might not think that Swiss Chalet is a fast food joint, but some locations have a drive-thru option.
So, that's probably why people consider it fast food.
"Last summer I travelled to Canada for the first time all the way from Finland and went to a Swiss chalet, and it was so delicious," someone commented.
"Now I'm just thinking about traveling back to Canada just to get their damn food."
While these places didn't make the top five, quite a few people said these spots are Canada's best fast food restaurants:

- Triple O's
- Chick-fil-A
- Jollibee
- Tim Hortons
- Firehouse Subs
Then, the next most popular fast food restaurants in Canada are Mr. Sub, Chipotle, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Taco Time, Popeyes and White Spot.
A few people said Pizza Pizza, Subway, St-Hubert BBQ, Fat Bastard Burritos, Fatburger, Arby's, Burger King, and New York Fries are the best fast food places in Canada.
Finally, these fast food restaurants only got one vote each: Thai Express, Mucho Burrito, Smoke's Poutinerie, Pita Pit, Pizza Nova, and KFC.
Some people commented that no fast food restaurant is the best because prices are "too high" or it takes too long to get your order.
