BC Has A Giant Rain Forest Waterfall Just Steps Away From The Highway

It's the perfect pit stop.
Staff Writer

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far for the best adventures. There is a giant waterfall in B.C. literally steps away from the highway. Bridal Veil Falls needs to be your next pitstop when travelling through the province and trust us, you won't regret it.

B.C. has some show-stopping waterfalls hidden all around.

But one of the best waterfalls isn’t hidden at all and is actually right off a major highway.

This means you can hit it up during your next big road trip without adding hours to your adventure.

Bridal Veil Falls is located in a provincial park and it's the perfect spot if you're looking for a little day-long adventure or a roadtrip leg stretch.

Less than one kilometre off the Trans Canada Highway, you can stroll out and back in no time.

So if you find yourself travelling to or from Vancouver in the near future then be sure to punch this location into your GPS.

Near the Fraser Valley, this hot spot is home to one of the province's most extravagant waterfalls.

The waterfall is actually staggering and is definitely something you need to see up close to believe.

The trail itself is considered to be easy which means you don’t have to worry about lugging along your intense hiking boots.

It’s also dog friendly as long as Fido is on a leash.

The entire loop will take you less than a half-hour and you will be greeted with insane views.

As you walk you will be surrounded by massive trees and some of the most lush green foliage you can imagine.

Think Jurassic Park minus the dinos.

You will eventually make your way to the waterfall which is a sight for sore eyes. It literally doesn’t seem real and you can even dip your toes in the cold water.

During the winter months, this waterfall freezes so unless you are up for a chilly hike, the best time year to go is in the summer.

Either way, the waterfall doesn’t disappoint and with how convenient it is to get to, you would be silly not to go at least once in your life.

Bridal Veil Falls

Address: Rosedale, BC

Why You Need To Go: This waterfall is one of a kind and you would be hard-pressed to find something this extravagant somewhere else.
