Canada Post's initiative, hashtagged #WriteHereWriteNow, has the goal of making someone's day with a letter.

"You can tell someone you’re thinking about them. Include a photo or a kid’s drawing. Draw a little doodle and even seal it with a lipstick kiss! It only takes 10 minutes," they wrote on their website.

The company even stresses how easy it is to send something to a loved one and gives Canadians a step-by-step guide to mailing a letter.

First, they say you need a stamp and a letter-sized envelope.

Next, they asked that you obtain the address of the desired person; if you only have half of the address, the company can help you find the rest.

Last, they ask that you drop the letter in a community mailbox or at your post office and they'll take care of the rest.
