It's expected that Canada's weather will cool down by the end of this week.
Some places in Ontario, B.C., Alberta and other provinces could even be "colder than the Arctic."
According to a new forecast from The Weather Network, a shift to a cooler and active weather pattern is expected across Canada.
Temperatures in most of the country's major cities will be at or below seasonal starting on Thursday, June 12 and continuing into the weekend.
Northern winds and weather systems are set to "push out nearly all signs of summer heat," The Weather Network said.
B.C.'s weather will be cool and unsettled because of a low moving down from Alaska.
Then, across the Prairies and into eastern parts of Canada, arctic air will blow in because of a low-pressure system from the north.
Toronto's weather could be "colder than the Arctic Circle" by Friday, June 13.
According to The Weather Network, Toronto is expected to be one of the coldest spots in the country with a daytime high of 17 C.
Toronto is set to be colder than Inuvik, a town in the Northwest Territories that's near the Arctic Ocean. That's because the temperature in Inuvik is forecast to reach 21 C on Friday!
It could also be warmer in Whitehorse and Yellowknife on Friday, as temperatures could hit 18 C in those places.
Toronto isn't the only Canadian city that's expected to get a cool down this week.
Ontario's weather forecast said it should be 15 C in Thunder Bay and 19 C in Ottawa on Friday, both of which are colder than Inuvik.
Also, temperatures are set to be 18 C on Friday in Vancouver, Edmonton and St. John's.
The Weather Network said parts of the Prairies, along with Montreal and Halifax, are the "warmer" spots.
It's set to be 20 C in Calgary, 22 C in Regina, 23 C in Winnipeg, 20 C in Montreal, and 20 C in Halifax on Friday.
According to The Weather Network, this shift in temperatures is expected to reduce the wildfire risk and bring rain to western parts of the country.
But there is a risk of severe thunderstorms in the Prairies at the end of this week.
Chilly conditions will continue in Toronto on Saturday, and rain could make the weather even more miserable.
