It's been another record-breaking weekend in some parts of the country. As Canada’s COVID-19 cases topped 360,000, two provinces have recorded all-time-high figures.

On Saturday, November 28, the federal government revealed the latest COVID-19 statistics in Canada.

Per the data, the country’s total number of cases climbed to 364,810, with 5,746 new positive tests being reported on Saturday alone.

The number of active cases reached 62,134.

364,810 Cases of COVID-19 in Canada

In both Alberta and Quebec, Saturday was another record-breaking day when it came to new COVID-19 cases.

On November 28, Alberta confirmed a daily high of 1,731, while Quebec reported 1,480 new positive tests.

While Ontario didn’t report an all-time-high on Saturday, the province broke their own previous record on Friday with 1,855 new infections.

Regions like Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Saskatchewan have also experienced case spikes in the last seven days.

While some areas continue to be hit hard by the pandemic, other spots in Canada have no active COVID-19 cases right now.
