One of America's favorite fast-food chicken spots is bringing spicy new menu items to the testing floor in certain parts of the country.

Chick-Fil-A announced they will be expanding the current testing process of their new "Spicy Chick-n-Strips" and "Spicy Chick-n-Strips Biscuit" to Central Texas, Tampa, and Chicago starting April 26.

The new chicken strips are "made from the most tender part of the chicken breast," and are seasoned with a blend of peppers, hand-breaded, and then fried in peanut oil, while the new biscuit features the same spicy tenders but they are — you guessed it — on a biscuit.

Unfortunately by adding the new menu items, the chain must say goodbye to some fan-favorite munchies, including the "Original Chick-n-Strips," "Grilled Cool Wrap," and the "Side Salad."

"Why so much change? Our goal is to serve quality food as efficiently as possible. For us to continue providing the food and service you know and love, we are testing this modified menu to see if it improves your experience in our restaurants," the chain said in the press release.
