Freshen up your movie night! Movie theatres have yet to re-open but you can still enjoy new releases and some sweet bargain deals with the Cineplex online store. The flicks are perfect if you've been feeling like your watch lists on Netflix and Amazon Prime are getting a little stale.

According to the Cineplex Store website, you can find new releases, hot rentals, movies with pride, and some bargain horror rentals among more.

That means that you can get that brand new movie feeling all from the comfort of your home.

The new releases category has flicks including Trolls World Tour, The King of Staten Island, SCOOB!, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Never Rarely Sometimes Always, Burden, and The Lodge

Some of those are renting for as low as $4.99, and are available to buy starting at $14.99. Others will cost you a bit more at $19.99 or $24.99 to rent or buy.

There are also dozens of movies from back in 2019 that haven't yet been added to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Crave or any other streaming service in Canada.

In another category titled hot rentals under $4, you can find The Blues Brothers, Labyrinth, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Megan Leavey, Future World, and The Other Boleyn Girl among tons more.

For horror lovers, you can browse the "movie for a loonie" section that includes scary thrillers available to rent from 99 cents.

They include The Grudge, 30 Days of Night, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ominous, and Quarantine.

In the deals central category, you can find some throwback classics that aren't available on Netflix or Amazon Prime including Vacation, Radio, Where Hope Grows, and One Crazy Summer.

The movies with pride category has iconic films such as Moonlight, Love Simon, The Kids Are All Right, Sister Act, Milk, Brokeback Mountain, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Cineplex writes that for the rental period, "You have 30 days from the date of purchase to start watching your rental, and 48 hours to finish it once you've started watching."

If you're still itching to get that authentic movie theatre experience again, then good news is in store.

Cineplex recently announced that after being closed for three months, they are planning to reopen as early as June 26 and hope to have "as many of its locations as it can" reopen by July 3.
