A man is traumatized after spotting what appears to be two shrimp tails in his bag of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Jensen Karp tweeted photos of the two objects and tagged the official Cinnamon Toast Crunch account asking them to explain themselves.

The brand was quick to reply, saying they would like to report the incident to their quality team and replace the box, but Karp denied the free replacement, saying he's "not sure [he's] ready for that."

Cinnamon Toast Crunch claimed to have further investigated the photo and concluded that the two objects were actually an accumulation of cinnamon sugar, saying "there's no possibility of cross-contamination with shrimp."

Karp expressed his disagreement with the findings so the brand has now requested that he send them in for further inspection, but he says he will be keeping one for himself as evidence.
