The average income in Canada varies so much depending on where you live and one province makes almost $20,000 more than another.

According to the government’s Canadian Income Survey, Albertans make the most money on average, earning a considerable $72,500 every year after tax.

Earning almost $20,000 less on average is Nova Scotians, who make approximately $53,300 annually after tax.

The rest of Canada’s provinces fall somewhere in the middle, with residents of P.E.I., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, B.C. and Ontario all earning over $60,000 annually on average.
