There is usually a lot of work for Canada Post around this time of year, and they have already been very busy with holiday deliveries.

In a December 3 press release, it was revealed that Canada Post delivered almost three million packages over the last three days of November.

The majority of these were delivered on Monday, with approximately 2.1 million parcels reaching their destination.

Prior to that, roughly 800,000 packages were delivered over the course of the weekend.

Canada Post is planning to scale up its service while maintaining safety protocols for the 2020 holiday season.

More than 4,000 seasonal employees and 1,000 vehicles, as well as additional equipment, have been added to handle the extra volume.

They have also put out their shipping deadlines so Canadians can know the latest possible dates to have items arrive before Christmas day.

In addition to Canada Post, FedEx has also released their holiday deadlines for December.
