Canada's Travel Ban Has Been Extended & Non-Residents Are Still Not Allowed To Visit
It doesn't apply to people coming from the U.S. though.
In an update shared on September 30, Public Safety Canada confirmed thathad been extended even further.
The notice, shared via Twitter, said that travel restrictions into the country would be continued until at least October 31.
This extended restriction applies to anyone entering Canada from a country other than the United States.

This step was initially taken by the Canadian federal governmentdue to COVID-19 concerns.
“We will be closing our borders to people who are not citizens or permanent residents of Canada,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau explained at the time.

It's expected to remain closed until October 21, although this could be extended once again.
For Canadians and residents who are coming home, aremains in place.
